Summary of the Address

To assure our future continued progress and development while heading into 2013, we shall concentrate our efforts and focus on the three key issues.

First and foremost this year, as we become a part of the Daiwa House Group as its subsidiary, we find ourselves at a brand new stage for the growth opportunity. We shall use this occasion to reach out for a true caliber of growth as a company that holds evident its pride and confidence, while bringing in the real and tangible contributions to the society. In this respect, the synergy with the Daiwa House Industry offers us a solid foundation on which to realize Fujita's vision of the future that is based on the growth strategy.

Secondly, with respect to the overseas business expansion, we shall continue through with the comprehensive risk management activities in China while remaining focused on adding to our diverse experience portfolio through further achievements. Presence in the regions like Brazil, Indonesia, Myanmar, etc., will undoubtedly lead to the growth of our company, provided we exercise carefully a good sense of discretion while proceeding promptly with our activities to satisfy fully the needs of our clients.

Thirdly, on the issue of improving gains in our building work, we endeavor on a path towards enhancement of the business processes in the many facets of our activities such as design and construction, planning and proposals, large-scale orders, etc. In the area of civil engineering as well, this year should bring in the stable and robust performance counted upon.

As a premise to address these challenges in a successful manner, the essential point is continuing our efforts in the area of enhancement and development of the strong and qualified human resources work force.

In the year that has welcomed us onto the new stage, together as one - the officers and the employees alike - let us strive to the fullest in achieving our goals, making it one of the most fruitful years to come.
