Students of School of Architecture visit construction sites

On February 18, 2012, nine students and one professor of the Hiroshima International University (School of architecture) visited Fujita's construction sites : 'Fuji Gran Hiroshima' already constructed by FUJITA's design/Build and 'DeoDeo NO.2 shop' under construction.

Firstly, the visitors had a meeting at the FUJITA's Hiroshima Branch, and the whole process of construction for 'FUJI Gran' was explained. Then they visited the actual site which has been already opened.

Then, they moved to the 'DeoDeo' construction site. At the site, the general manager explained the outline of the construction and they visited the actual sites. After the site visiting, some students said that "through explanations and this visiting, we can feel actual construction works", or "we can learn various inventions during construction process". We think they can experience actual construction situations which cannot be leant at the lectures in university. The students are now under recruiting activities, and we hope they can get very detailed information on a construction company.

Now, Fujita Corporation is positively developing construction education in order to let various people know the actual situations, contribution to society and high grade technologies of construction industry through inviting people to actual construction sites and lectures on demand.
