4. The Summary:

Congratulations to our newly hired employees.

At the start of your career at Fujita, I have three things I would like to ask of you.
First, have pride in your work. The construction industry has been the key to Japanese economic growth and improvement in living standards. Fujita has been gaining clients' trust by meeting their expectations with cutting edge technologies and accumulated know-how, along with our corporate values of a progressive spirit and sincerity. Please have a pride in taking a part in the construction industry and working at Fujita. Acquire "the technology for creation" and "the good corporate culture", and become a person who contributes to the company and the society through work. Our corporate philosophy states our mission and the stance necessary to achieve the mission. We need to harness your aspirations and actions to realize our corporate philosophy. I would like you to have pride in the corporate philosophy as you pursue your career at Fujita.

Secondly, strive to be a professional. You cannot build a structure alone. It is meant to be accomplished through the combined efforts of many professionals in various fields. Seek out your tasks and professionalism as they are required. Fujita's mission can be achieved when your professional comrades are gathered as one. Our first construction of an automobile production line facility in Mexico was completed in 2013. To complete it on-schedule demanded the combined strength of more than 100 employees working as one for more than 5 years; it resulted in tremendous gratitude from our clients. A success like this can only be possible when numbers of professionals work as a team. It requires 10 or 20 years to become a pro, but I want all of you here to strive to be one. Hold the corporate philosophy close to your heart, do not give-up, continue to strive, and gain experiences to pave your path.

Lastly, envision your future self. Envision where you would want to be in one year and then review if you reached your goals, or if you have missed. By repeating this process, you can come closer to your ideal self. Envision yourself, work towards it, and reach higher.
Today, Fujita's mission grows ever larger and more important. The entire world needs Japanese techniques of creating things and building towns and environments. It is my sincere wish for each one of you to lead fulfilled and challenging lives along with your comrades at Fujita with a fertile mind in heart.
