4. Summary:
Congratulations to our newly-hired employees.

We have been reborn as new Fujita following the merger of Daiwa Odakyu Construction Co., Ltd. and Fujita Corporation on October 1st, 2015. You are among the first employees to be hired by the new Fujita, the memorable inaugural members.

I would like to communicate three important things to you as new members of society as well as Fujita's employee.

Firstly, have faith.
When you face an obstacle at work, whether you can execute a task without giving up, or can stay calm under pressure depends on faith.
Construction is an important key industry, not only for disaster prevention, maintenance of transportation and community infrastructures, but also for the support of public social life. I want all of you to have a faith, as "my job is necessary for the society".

Secondly, stay proactive and aim to be professional.
Tackle the task in front of you whole-heartedly. That will earn you trust from people around you and lead to you being trusted with bigger tasks that will enable you to stand on your own faster. This is how you gain experience and in addition you should invest in yourself and continue to learn. A professional is created out of experience and learning. We are a group of architectural professionals. Our clients request us to work on one of a kind structures that will last forever because we are professionals and we enjoy a trust built upon our achievements.
For those of you who aim to be a professional, please start from the task in front of you with all you have got.

Thirdly, design yourself.
Design who you want to become. We can be who we want to be. If you know who you want to be, you will move in that direction and as a result, you come closer to your ideal self.

Please have faith that this is "for the society", stay proactive, and face the challenges aiming who you want to become. If followed, I assure you of a bright future, and I pray for it.
