Summary:

Congratulations on joining our Company. Please accept my most sincere welcome. It is my heartfelt wish for you to get to know and come to like Fujita as soon as possible: what kind of company it is and what its key values are. To characterize Fujita is to say that this is a company that achieves its profits through the craft of construction work - monozukuri - which in turn is much needed by the society.
With our history dating back over 100 years, Fujita of Today is a company that keeps on evolving: having amassed a grand deal of construction experience, having gained invaluable trust, while possessing new technologies, and working with numerous partner companies. And now as a new member of the Daiwa House Group, it can be said that as a global company, we are embracing the expectations of new and exciting growth opportunities.

Fujita's growth-oriented strategy, while firmly based in the field of construction work, will lead to enhancing company's position through the three areas of overseas operation, stock business, and the environmental work.
It is said that "The Essence of a Company Are the People". Among the vital parts needed for operating a business are: people, things such as technologies and know-how, money, information. Of the above, the most important one is People. It is precisely the human element that will produce goods, generate funding, master a tool or technology, and ultimately continue evolving with the times.

In Fujita, we have our own history, corporate culture, know-hows, and technologies. Going beyond working as one, I envision for all of you becoming a new kind of human asset: the one that evolves with the times, the one that promptly responds to the demands of society, having learned from the get-go our company's know-hows and the technologies, having immersed in and identified oneself with our corporate culture.

Through learning all about and within the company, your very own capabilities will become enhanced, leading in turn to strengthening of the entire human element asset within the organization and ultimately increasing its competitive edge. By the efforts of our predecessors and unwinding support of many people, we as a company have been through and have overcame a number of hardships; in the wake of each we kept gaining - over and over again - a new doze of competitiveness.

Our recent entry into the Daiwa House Croup family of the companies not only has naturally led to the growth of a Group as a whole, but it has also significantly enhanced the credibility of Fujita itself, bearing/implying to a forthcoming potential for further growth. The Year of 2013 has become a starting year of the newly-reborn Fujita.

Companies, just as people, move on to growth and strengthening as a result of overcoming hardships. You too will not be exception to avoiding the tribulations, for such is the inevitable nature of things. Now, in overcoming these tribulations, it is empowering of the people that plays most importance.
